KAREN MOSBACHER
Dressed in
Sound and Dance
Karen Mosbacherās work explores the intersection of elegance, movement, and perception. Her paintings of dresses consider adornment as both expression and quiet strength. Drawing from chromesthesiaāwhere sound evokes color and formāshe translates music into visual compositions that are both seen and felt.
Watch the video and discover the process and expression of an artist with chromesthesia, a condition in which sound involuntarily evokes an experience of color, shape, and movement.
The art that Karen Mosbacher creates has a unique ability to provoke one's senses.
āI follow what I hear and feel, translating it into visual formāI paint the invisible.ā
